Positive: The hotel staff were welcoming, helpful and informative about the area. The bed was extremely comfortable, the atmosphere of the old hotel was warm and inviting. Breakfast exactly what we needed for our day.

Negative: The stairs were a little daunting but the staff helped with our bags.

Summary: We will be staying here next time we are in Queenstown

Positive: The Hunters Hotel was a very pleasant surprise. It far exceeded our expectations in every way. From the outside, we weren't too sure what to expect but once we entered the building, we were warmly welcomed by Ralph and shown to our room. Ralph is a genuinely friendly and hospitable host. The room was clean, newly renovated and well appointed. Bed was very comfortable and the room itself was very quiet. A very generous breakfast was served the next day. We loved our stay at Hunters Hotel.

Negative: Nothing, this place exceeded our expectations.

Positive: Great location in the main street, IGA next door, pizza place across the road. Quiet. Ralph was lovely & we enjoyed talking about travel. Breakfast was fabulous; continental buffet style with quality ingredients. Overall, I felt it was overpriced for the standard of the room. Breakfast was the saving grace but doubt I'd choose to stay again...sorry! I wish Hunter's Hotel all the best.

Negative: Room had a strange smell & there was no window. Wifi didn't work in the room (#5)

Positive: Interesting host. He had lots of knowledge of Hobart. Room was lovely with a large ensuite. The hotel was amazing with refurbishment back to when the hotel was built. Really nice Belfast supplied. Great value for the price. The railway station cafe/resturant served good food. It's just a very short walk. The hotel does have a few stairs other wise everything was great.

Summary: Historical home worth every penny.
